About
The link shortener that pays its users
URL Flow is a product of Flowpera.com, built on one idea: the people who share links create the traffic, so they should share in the revenue that traffic generates.
Why we built it
Billions of links get shared every day in group chats, comment threads, video descriptions, and forum posts. Almost none of them earn anything for the person who did the sharing. The value they create lands somewhere else entirely — with the platform hosting the conversation, or the site at the other end of the click.
That always struck us as backwards. The person who knows where to post a link, and has built enough trust that people actually follow it, is doing the hardest part of the job. URL Flow exists to route a share of that value back to them, at rates they can check for themselves before they ever sign up.
How the model actually works
When you shorten a link with URL Flow and share it, each visitor briefly lands on one of our articles before continuing to your destination. The advertising shown alongside that article is what funds the platform, and a share of it is credited to you per valid visit at a rate based on the visitor's country.
That country dependency isn't arbitrary. Advertisers pay different amounts to reach different markets, so a visit from a market with heavy advertiser competition is genuinely worth more than one from a smaller ad market. Rather than average that away into a single flat number, we publish the whole table on our payout rates page so you can see exactly what your particular audience is worth.
Only valid visits earn. That means a real person who stays until the countdown finishes, counted once per visitor per day, per link. Automated traffic doesn't earn, and neither do the schemes built to imitate real visitors. This isn't us being strict for the sake of it — advertisers stop paying for inventory full of bots, and when that happens everybody's rates fall.
What we stand for
Four commitments we're happy to be held to
Publish the rates
Every country rate we pay is on a public page, not hidden behind a login or a support ticket. If a rate changes, it changes in the open where anyone can check it.
Respect the visitor
A visitor sees one readable article, a visible countdown, and a clearly labelled continue button. No pop-ups, no fake download buttons, no chains of redirects.
Pay real people, by hand
A person reviews every withdrawal request. That's slower than an automatic system, and it's the reason payouts land with the people who actually earned them.
Say no to fake traffic
Bot clicks and click-swap schemes poison the advertising that funds everyone's earnings. We detect them, we don't pay for them, and we'd rather lose the volume.
Where we draw the line
Things we won't do
Plenty of link platforms have made money doing the following. We think each one trades a short-term gain for the trust that makes the whole model work, so they're off the table.
- Selling your personal information to anyone, for any price
- Disguising ads as download buttons or system warnings
- Stacking redirects so a visitor can't tell where they're going
- Quietly changing rates and hoping nobody checks
- Paying for traffic we know is automated
Who's behind URL Flow
URL Flow is built and operated by the team at Flowpera.com. We're a small group, which shows up in the product in both directions: features arrive deliberately rather than constantly, and the person answering your support message is someone who works on the thing you're asking about.
We'd rather be judged on the parts that matter — whether the rates are honest, whether the payouts arrive, and whether visitors are treated decently on the way through. If we ever fall short on one of those, we want to hear about it.
